In order to participate in this nine week Rome studio, students needed to apply and be accepted into the program based on merit. The entire studio was completed in Rome, Italy and focused on designing for the local community. It tested student’s skills outside of fast rendering abilities that are often not found outside of the United States and allowed students to practice their skills on designing for others even if they lived completely different lives than those outside of Rome.
